Our Family
We are a local church based in Chichester.
We want to be a community where we lean in to Jesus and each other and where we seek to transform our communities, bringing God’s freedom to all.
Revs is a vibrant, diverse, and fun family, with many things going on throughout the week - within the church and in the wider community.
We gather in a variety of ways on a Sunday and also throughout the week in small midweek groups called ‘Oikos Groups’.
Our Story
When God starts moving in a generation…
Revelation Church began in the 1980s, emerging from a youth group and officially forming in 1983. It grew rapidly, planting churches, youth congregations, and ministries like Life Centre and Fusion. In 1999, it launched the first 24-7 Prayer room, sparking a global movement promoting continuous prayer, resources like Lectio 365, and the Order of the Mustard Seed. Today, 24-7 Prayer spans four continents with around 100 communities dedicated to prayer, mission, and justice.
Now 40 years later, Revelation Church still has many of its core members, though with updated fashion and a few more grey hairs. It remains an active part of the expanding 24-7 Prayer Communities Network, committed to making a tangible difference among the poor and the lost, uniting around a shared vision of prayer, mission and justice.

Love Our World
〰️ Love God 〰️ Love One Another 〰️ Love Our World
We are a church drawn by a vision centred on Jesus Christ to be a Light for Chichester, the district & the world.
We envisage the district of Chichester transformed by God’s love & power, where families thrive, communities flourish, and every corner reflects the beauty of Jesus.
We believe that God is calling us to this district and our heart, is to develop a resource congregation in Chichester, and to see popup gatherings and house churches planted in villages that can live out the missional heart of God. Together, we want to rewrite the story of the district, weaving in the tapestry of the good news of God’s kingdom – a message of hope, restoration, and abundant life for all.
