PLEASE CHECK OUR CALENDAR FOR SPECIAL EVENTS AND ANOMALIES IN OUR REGULAR SUNDAY GATHERING PATTERN

Sunday Mornings:

Our Sunday morning gathering is held at Bishop Luffa School on Bishop Luffa Close in Chichester from 10:30am till 12pm. If you are a guest, new to Revelation or want to find out how our Sundays run then this is the place for you.

Welcome

Please look out for our Hospitality Team with white lanyards on a Sunday who will be able to help and try to answer any questions you may have. We have a welcome area near the refreshments each week for guests, visitors and established members to connect and meet others.

Children and Young People
We have fun filled age appropriate programmes that run every Sunday for children from 2 to 14 years old. The programmes are run by an amazing team of volunteers for 45 minutes (11am until 11.45am). For more detailed information on these programmes and all the other activities that happen for both Children and Young people beyond Sunday or on our Safe Guarding Policy please go to the ‘Get Involved’ tab on our website.

Worship
Every Sunday we are led by one of our house bands at the church. We mainly use recently composed songs which are in a contemporary style.

Disability Access
Both of our Sunday venues have fully disabled access. We also have a disabled toilet facility. If you need more information or support please contact the church office (01243 531898) and we will do our best to assist you.

Talks
Every Sunday morning there will be teaching from the Bible that engages with relevant issues that face us in the world we live in. We look at how the Bible applies to our daily lives. The talks often flow in series over a number of Sundays. Our talks run for about 30 minutes.

Offering
Each week we have an opportunity to give to the work of the church on a Sunday morning. The money collected goes to the running of the church and all its operations. There is never any pressure to give so please feel relaxed about it. If you are a UK tax payer we also operate the Gift Aid scheme meaning if you fill out the simple form we can claim 25 pence in the pound for every donation you make.

Prayer and Ministry
Each Sunday we offer the opportunity for personal prayer. This usually takes place as our Sundays are drawing to a close.

Refreshments
There are free refreshments served at 12pm as we draw our morning to a close. We would love you to join us for a drink to say hello. This is a great time to get to know some new people.

Sunday Evenings:

We gather every Sunday evening from 6:30pm-8pm at the Family Centre, 21 Orchard Street, Chichester, PO19 1DD.

Worship
A small band leads worship at our Sunday evening gatherings. This is an extended time of worship with space and time for people to share words, practise their spiritual gifts and minister to each other.

Children and Young People
We do not have a provision for children and young people at our evening gathering but this does not mean children and young people are not welcome! We love to see families participate together and worship as a unit.

Talks
Most Sundays the talk is based on the same theme and scripture in the evening as it is in the morning and is delivered by the same speaker, but often with a twist or slightly different angle. On occasion we do welcome guest speakers to come and join us for the evening gathering so at times the two meetings will be totally different in content.

Disability Access
Both of our Sunday venues have fully disabled access. We also have a disabled toilet facility. If you need more information or support please contact the church office (01243 531898) and we will do our best to assist you.

Refreshments
We do not serve refreshments at our evening gatherings but we do encourage everyone to meet at a local pub or restaurant after the meeting to enjoy a drink and each other's company. This is a great opportunity to build friendships and get to know each other.

News: Salvation is coming

Written by

One of the most exciting things about being a Christian, if not the most exciting thing, is leading another person into a relationship with Jesus Christ and seeing the fruit of that decision working itself out in their lives.

It is what we are called to do in our lives as followers of Christ. It is not an option. It is our great commission.

Recently the church leaders met together and we have felt challenged to look at how we can see salvation in our community. Many thoughts have been put forward but we were all in agreement that running an Alpha course is a great way to help people in their journey to discover Christ.

So we are putting together an Alpha Team. We want a spirit of excellence in every part of Alpha. We want the welcome to be excellent, the food to be excellent, we want the talks to be excellent and we want the discussions to be both excellent and fruitful. We want the experience for the whole night to be as if we were doing it for Jesus himself.

We haven’t run Alpha for a while and we want to make sure that what we deliver is as good as it’s possible to make it. We are doing a practice run with our Alpha Team in Oct-Dec 2013 and then we will properly launch in Jan 2014. We will run some great events leading up to the beginning of Alpha in Jan 2014. These events will be the perfect opportunity to bring friends along to and introduce the idea of doing an alpha course. We see Alpha as being at the heart of what we are committed to as a community of believers. We are totally committed to the salvation of our city and see Alpha as a great tool to help us bring Jesus into the lives of those that don’t yet know him.

So let’s grab hold of this as a community and commit to supporting our Alpha team and bringing people to the Alpha course and ultimately to faith. I am so excited. Come on people; let’s see our friends, our work colleagues, our families coming into relationship with our Saviour and King. Let us see growth through salvation and not just the joy of new babies!

Jesus taught us that the harvest is ready and in the words of our friend Dale Gentry “It’s gonna be BIG!”
