About Revs

We believe in team. Revs has a team of six people that oversee the running of the church and all its activities.

The team is made up guys and girls who are on staff and those that volunteer their time. This team drives the vision and values and their outworking. The buck stops here!

Roger Ellis

Roger is a founder member and leader of Revelation Church. Much of his time is spent training leaders both in the UK and overseas. In rare time off, he enjoys carp fishing on wet, gusty nights! He likes fishing (and talking about it to anyone who'll listen). Don't say we didn't warn you.

Phil Harper

Phil connected with Revs in 2000 when he moved down from London to train to be a Secondary School Teacher. Phil oversees the Cell Groups in Revs with a team of Coordinators. He is married to Catherine, their son is Reece and their cat is Ellie. Phil enjoys relaxing with good food & wine or cycling on the quiet roads around Chichester listening to his MP3. If he could wish for any new skills he would love the gardening brain of Monty Don, the footballing talent of Kenny Dalglish and the golfing genius of Tiger Woods!

Elaine Monery

Elaine joined Revelation in 1985 while studying at Bognor College. She has been married to Neil since 1988 and they have two primary school aged children. Along with leading a cell, she runs the Marriage Preparation and Marriage Courses. The rest of her time is spent working part time as a teacher in a primary school in Selsey, where they live. She loves playing her cello and is trying to learn the harp but is finding coordinating the fingers of two hands a bit of a challenge.

Neil Monery

Neil has been a part of Revelation since 1983. He has, coincidentally, been married to Elaine since 1988 and together they run the Marriage Preparation and Marriage Courses. In the day time he is a paramedic and tutor for South East Coast Ambulance Service organising the paramedic degree programme. When he has time to spare, he loves photography and relishes a few annual days of solitude somewhere remote!

Dan Slatter
Dan has been a part of Revs since 1994 when he moved down from north London to study at the University of Chichester. Dan leads the Leaders Team at Revs. He is passionate about Revs role and engagement in the wider community. He is married to Kathryn and they have three young children Ethan, Erin and Jaime. He enjoys relaxing with a cold pint in his hand whist watching football, namely his team Spurs. Mind you being a Spurs fan is not always a relaxing experience!
