The week kicked off with the Social Action Teams working in 72 different homes clearing gardens, cutting hedges and taking away van load after van load of rubbish. A Whopping 67 van trips later we had dumped tonnes and tonnes of rubbish and unwanted items including 35 bikes, 19 mattresses, 8 freezers!!!
The Blast playscheme and Toddler Tribe held at the Venue hosted over 120 different children over the four days who took part in various craft activities, dance, giant volleyball, bouncy castles and parachute games to name but a few.
Noise week 2008 drew to a close after a hectic family fund day and a church meeting on the Green. The gathering clouds that threatened rain held off and we were able to share a bit more about Gods love with some of the people that we had met over the week.
A massive ‘Thank You’ to every single one of the 66 volunteers from Revelation who gave their time and energy to help make this project such a success.
